The 2019 Student Design Competition was judged at the 177th ASA Meeting in Louisville, KY, in May 2019. The competition is made possible by the support and efforts of the Technical Committee on Architectural Acoustics and National Council of Acoustical Consultants, and awards are made possible through the Wenger Foundation’s support of the Newman Student Award Fund. The project involved the interior fit-out of the 6th floor of a 15 floor office tower.
Many thanks are extended to the judges who contributed several hours of their time and expertise to the competition: Jay Bliefnick (Acentech), Felicia Doggett (Metropolitan Acoustics), Scott Harvey (Phoenix Noise & Vibration), and Ian Patrick (D. L. Adams Associates).
